
A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals that the Government of Newfoundland’s Department of Digital Government and Service NL officials have attended 321 trips outside the province and country since the Liberals took government in 2015.
The Cities include Quebec City, Vancouver, Saskatoon, Halifax, Ottawa, Toronto, Moncton, Calgary, Montreal, Banff, Saint John, Niagara Falls, Fredericton, Labrador City, Whitehorse, and Iqaluit.
Some of the events attended include Weights and Dimensions Conference, National Chief Inspector Mines Meetings, CAGRA 2022 conference, FTP Joint Council Meetings, CIPHI Conference, National Association of Gaming Regulators, Council of Canadian Administrative Tribunals Conference, Canadian Council of Insurance Regulators, Canadian Council of Occupational Health and Safety, Annual Lobbyist Registrars and Commissioners Network conference, PTPACC Meetings, ACI Meetings, CVSA Conference, BizPal steering committee meeting, Canadian Association of Pension Supervisory Authorities (CAPSA) meeting, Canadian Conference on Personal Property Security Law (CCPPSL), FPT Symposium on Digital Identity and Cybersecurity, Canadian Conference of Land Titles Officers (CCLTO), Vital Statistics Annual Council Meetings, and CISRO meetings.
