
A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals that the Government of Newfoundland’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure officials have attended 90 trips outside the province and country since the Liberals took government in 2015.
The cities include Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver, Halifax, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Toronto, Moncton, Whistler, Winnipeg, and Charlottetown.
Some of the events attended include Northern Lights Conference, FPT Meetings, Atlantic Ministers’ of Transportation meetings, P3 Conference, TAC Conference, Deputy Ministers of Transportation Meeting, Chief Engineers Council, Transportation Association of Canada Conference, and Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships Conference.
