On July 30, 2026, Mattbarter.ca published emails sent and received by Memorial University General Counsel Scott Worsfold regarding Associate Vice-President (Harlow Campus and Global Partnerships) Jingjing Xu’s employment contract.
An August 26, 2025, letter from President Janet Morrison to Xu was referenced several times, but the letter itself was not included in the records provided.
Memorial’s Information Access and Privacy (IAP) Office stated that the “attachment was inadvertently missed during the sorting process.”
The IAP Office has since updated the second package of records to include the letter. It is on pages 69 and 70.
