A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals that Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (NLHS) spent $19,035,220 to redevelop the old Costco building in the east end of St. John’s into the Unity Health Centre (Urgent Care Centre and Ambulatory Health Hub).
$16,656,998 was spent on equipment, $1,862,342 on redevelopment, and $515,880 on compensation.
