A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure spent $2,362,017.46 on the 2025 Canada Games from March 19, 2025, to June 19, 2025.
As previously reported, the Department spent $15,443,622.79 as of March 18, 2025.
To date, the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure has spent $17,805,640.25, the Department of Tourism has spent $10,386,000, Memorial University has spent $20,148,337.68, the Department of Education has spent $19,039,400, the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure has spent $15,443,622.79, and the City of St. John’s has spent $15,805,983. The total spent by all five bodies is $82,659,182.69.
