
A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals that the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Office of the Chief Information Officer officials have attended 72 trips outside the province and country since the Liberals took government in 2015.
The cities include Ottawa, Halifax, Toronto, Vancouver, Quebec City, Winnipeg, Charlottetown, and Whitehorse.
Some of the events attended include AMANDACON Conference, Oracle CloudWorld Conference, Atlantic Provinces Meeting, ISACA Information Security & Risk Conference, IMSC In Person Workshop, Single Business Number Partners Conference, Identify North-East Conference, Cyber Security & Digital Symposium, 2018 GoSec Cyber Security Conference, and Gartner IT Summit.
