An access-to-information request reveals a list of incidents by behaviour broken down by region and administrative actions taken in Newfoundland and Labrador schools for the 2023 calendar year.

There were incidents of students absent without permission, bullying, chronic noncompliance, disorderly conduct, disruptive behaviour, fighting, inappropriate language, physical assault, refusal to do work, roughhousing, vaping, etc.

Administrative actions included out-of-school suspension, in-school suspension, behaviour monitoring, detention, guardian conference, loss of privileges, guardian contact by phone, verbal reminder, etc.
