A recently filed access-to-information request sought the document “A Report and Proposed Policy and Procedures Amendments to the Memorial University of Newfoundland Student Code of Conduct (2014).”
External Consultant Sheila Devine prepared the report for Dr. Donna Hardy Cox, the Associate Vice-President (Academic) Students in the Office of Provost and Vice-President (Academic). It was dated July 6, 2020.
Memorial only granted partial access to the report as a large section of the records have been redacted pursuant to section 29. (1) (a) (policy advice or recommendation).
The summary of major recommended amendments to the code was redacted entirely.
