A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals briefing materials prepared for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Department of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills for March 2024. However, the Department decided to release its response in three parts, with six briefing notes provided in each part.
Part three includes The Town of Fogo Island Proposal – Labour Market Research on Current and Emerging Industries on Fogo Island Decision/Direction Note, Community Organizations Funding Decision/Direction Note, Forum of Ministers Responsible for Immigration (FMRI) Meeting Note, Newfoundland and Labrador Employers’ Council Proposal – Wage Incentive Project, The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL) Labour Market Partnership Proposal Decision/Direction Note, and UNF-Avalon Integration and Community Building Program (Phase 2) Decision Note.
