A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals briefing materials prepared for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Department of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills for March 2024. However, the Department decided to release its response in three parts, with six briefing notes provided in each part.
Part two includes Energy NL Labour Market Partnership – Discover Energy Careers decision/direction note, Keyin College – Personal Care Attendant decision/direction note, Rotary Arts Centre – Strategic Cultural Industries Workforce Development Realignment decision/direction note, The Office to Advance Women Apprentices (OAWA) Labour Market Partnership decision/direction note, Employment Steps for Success (ESS) Recommended Approvals 2023-2024 decision/direction note, and The Trailhead Development company (THDC) Proposal – A Workforce Training Laboratory: Deploying a Research and Innovation Framework for Labour Market Development decision/direction note.
