A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals briefing materials prepared for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Department of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills for March 2024. However, the Department decided to release its response in three parts, with six briefing notes provided in each part.
Part one includes Employment Steps for Success Applications for 2023-24 decision/direction note, Newfoundland and Labrador Forest Industry Association (NLFIA) Proposal decision/direction note, Allocation of Surplus Funding for Participant Costs for Service Agreements for Youth and Students Program decision/direction note, Ukrainian Resettlement decision note, Trades NL Funding Proposal – Extension of the Indigenous Skilled Trades Office (ISTO) decision/direction note, and Laughing Heart Music Ltd. – Music Sector Workforce Development Extension decision/direction note.
