A recently obtained access-to-information request from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure reveals medevac stats from November 23, 2023, to July 10, 2024.
The total number of flight hours for Government Air Services (GAS) was 724.5, and the total number of patients flown was 391. The total flight hours for contractor PAL were 167.7, and the total number of patients flown was 58. The total flight hours for EVAS were 1289.9, and the total number of patients flown was 984. The total flight hours for GAS, PAL, and EVAS were 2182.1, and 984 patients were flown.
