A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals that Memorial University’s Associate Vice-Presidents spent $160,234.67 on travel and hosting from January 1, 2023, to June 25, 2024.

The Associate Vice-President (Academic) spent $34,574.78 on travel and $1,398.28 on hosting, the Associate Vice-President (Facilities) spent $0 on travel and hosting, the Associate Vice-President (Public Engagement and External Relations) spent $3,099.07 on travel and $1520.30 on hosting, Associate Vice-President (Grenfell Campus) spent $32,667.26 in travel and $0 on hosting, the Associate Vice-President (Marine Institute) spent 24,409.89 on travel and $0 on hosting, the Associate Vice-President (Research) spent $61,941.57 on travel and $623.52 on hosting.
