A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals that the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Department of Industry, Energy and Technology officials have attended 624 trips outside the province and country since the Liberals took government in 2015.
The Department noted that the list includes travel information for officials of the former Department of Natural Resources from December 2015 to August 2020 and travel for officials in the Department of Industry, Energy, and Technology since it was formed in August 2020 to May 15, 2024.
