A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals that NL Health Services spent $19,162,279 on staffing agency nurses from January 1, 2023, to March 31, 2023.
The total amount for January 2024 was $10,153,502, the total for February 2024 was $12,603,118, and the total from September 2023 to January 2024 was $51,103,740.
As The Globe and Mail reported in February, the total amount from April to August 2023 was $35.6 million.
So, the total amount spent from January 2023 to February 2024 was $118,468,137.
