A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals that NL Health Services spent $12,603,118 on staffing agency nurses in February 2024.
The total amount for January 2024 was $10,153,502, and the total from September 2023 to January 2024 was $51,103,740.
As The Globe and Mail reported in February, the total amount from April to August 2023 was $35.6 million.
So, the total amount spent from April 2023 to February 2024 was $99,305,858.
