A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals that Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services spent $7,052,000 on staffing agency nurses in November 2025. 

$989,000 was spent in the Eastern Urban Zone, $838,000 in the Eastern Rural Zone, $2,500,000 in the Central Zone, $2,100,000 in the Western Zone, and $625,000 in the Labrador-Grenfell Zone.

The total spent on agency nurses to the end of October was $345,883,554, so the total is now $352,935,554.
