In addition to the $17,934.50 that Memorial University spent from June 15, 2022, to January 16, 2023, on its court case against student protester Matt Barter, as reported on April 18, 2023, a recently obtained access-to-information request reveals that Memorial spent $5,073.23 from April 17, 2023, to March 24, 2025, bringing the total to $23,007.73.
