An email shared with mattbarter.ca reveals that the Interim Head of Memorial University’s Department of Sociology, Rochelle Côté, has resigned. Côté thanked those who supported and encouraged her and those who worked with her and not against her.
Moreover, she said, “It was [a] true pleasure to work with you, and also get to know a bit about what you’ve been up to. I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to continue in the role for you.”
Côté said that effective October 21, 2024, the Dean’s Office will be the primary contact for all departmental business and for all inquiries to be directed there.
