An obtained access-to-information request reveals the operating grant that Memorial University provides to its Harlow Campus from 2003 to 2024. The amounts provided do not include instructional costs absorbed by academic units.

The Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) of Memorial University transfers a lump sum for operating expenses to the Harlow Campus each year. However, the Provost’s Office does not manage Harlow Campus’s financial matters (salary cost, expenses, etc.). The financial aspects are handled by Harlow Campus.

The total operating amount provided to Harlow in 2003 was $478,838.31, $473,572.48 in 2004, $677,569.41 in 2005, with $216,288.59 in other fees due to the value-added tax/load payment, $407,242.76 in 2006, $451,362.30 in 2007, 512,142.50 in 2008, $525,988.50 in 2009, $529,161.00 in 2010, $518,551.00 in 2011, $558,292.00 in 2012, $594,426.00 in 2013, $547,624.00, $623,873.00 in 2015, $726,662.27 in 2016, $599,460.51 in 2017, $804,940.68 in 2018, $498,118.14 in 2019, $640,840.91 in 2020, $680,186.12 in 2021, $736,097.12 in 2022 with $74,347 for deferred maintenance and $70 in other amounts, $872,516.84, and $958,978.61 in 2024.

The total amount provided to Harlow Campus since 2003 is $13,707,150.05.
