A recently obtained access-to-information has revealed that of the Memorial University nursing graduates, 203 accepted positions with Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services.

A previous ATIPP request revealed that there were 219 nursing graduates: 68 from MUN’s Faculty of Nursing, 102 from the Centre for Nursing Studies and 49 from the Western School of Nursing.

203 accepted offers out of 219 is a 92.6% acceptance rate.

In the Eastern zone, 155 graduates accepted positions with 48 permanent full-time, two permanent part-time, 99 temporary full-time, five temporary part-time, and one obligated casual.

In the Central zone, 12 graduates accepted positions with 12 permanent full-time.

In the Western zone, 26 graduates accepted positions with 21 permanent full-time and five obligated casual.

In the Labrador zone, ten graduates accepted positions with ten permanent full-time.

In total, 203 offers were accepted, with 91 permanent full-time, two permanent part-time, 99 temporary full-time, five temporary part-time, and six obligated casual.
