Memorial University in 2021: It was disrespectful to call the president of the university by her first name on a poster, and it effectively stripped her of her role and accomplishments. It was a “personal attack” and thus a serious violation of the Student Code of Conduct.
Democratic Party in 2024: Provided supporters posters that called the Vice President of the United States by her first name.
