A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals information about the number of healthcare workers recruited by Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (NLHS) from recruitment trips.
NLHS stated that there is no direct tracking mechanism for them to know if a healthcare worker has been recruited from a recruitment trip, but some data related to national and international trips is tracked.
429 applicants have been made employment offers from recruitment trips NLHS has participated in since January 1, 2022.
