A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals that the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation’s report outlining shelter standards is incomplete and will not be finished until June 3, 2024.
The NL Housing Corporation used exception s.29(1)(b) of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act to deny access for the time being. For the report, they included 41 pages with a giant red X mark through each page and the words “Page redacted” in the middle.
