After initially refusing to disclose the amount spent on staffing agency nurses in March 2025, Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services has finally provided the figure after another access-to-information request. The amount spent in March 2025 was $10,490,970.
The total amount spent on agency nurses from 2014 to the end of February 2025 was $291,976,639, so the total is now $302,467,609.
