A recently obtained access-to-information request from The Department of Health and Community Services reveals that the number of vacant registered nurse positions, including nurse partitioners, from 2013 to 2023 increased significantly, from 115 in October 2013 to 715 in October 2023.
The data also included a table with NLHS externally posted vacancies from 2013 to 2023 and a table with the total external recruitment competitions from 2008 to 2023 with causal and non-causal separated.
