A recently obtained ATIPP request reveals the non-academic positions at Memorial University from January 2nd, 2020, to June 25th, 2023, including the position number, title, department, budget type, employee class, salary group, position grade, and bargaining unit. As of June 25th, 2023, there were 2935 positions.
The Department of Human Resources provided five reports to respond to the ATIPP request, including January 2020, January 2021, January 2022, January 2023, and June 2023.
Each report is a snapshot from Banner HR showing the active positions when the report was generated. Each tab in the spreadsheet has the report run date, and the positions in the reports do not represent the number of employees. Vacant permanent positions are included in the reports, but vacant contractual positions are excluded.
The reports were modified to exclude the following: Employee Groups, including Academic (Faculty), Students, SIE/Agency Employees, and Executive. Also excluded are two Salary Groups, including LG (Leadership Group) and SM (Senior Management; SAM). Miscellaneous stipends and pooled positions were excluded, including hourly standardized patient position, disabled staff member position, salary continuance position, and stipend positions.
