A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals that the Office of Public Engagement Office at Memorial University organized 13 public engagement sessions in 2022 and 2023.
The sessions included Public Engagement Framework Evaluation focus groups for students and public participants, Relationships, Reciprocity and Relevance: Building Healthy Community-University Partnerships: Engage Memorial Panel, How Public Engagement Makes Research Better: A Research Week Engage Memorial Panel, Was the Public Engagement Framework a Success? Engage Memorial Panel, and PEF Renewal Campus/Public Sessions for the St. John’s Campus, Marine Institute, Grenfell Campus, Corner Brook, Signal Hill Campus, Labrador Campus, and Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
