A recently obtained access-to-information request reveals what Memorial University has on file for position descriptions for its Vice-Presidents, including the Provost and Vice-President (Academic), Vice-President (Administration and Finance), Vice-President (Indigenous), Vice-President (Fisheries and Marine Institute), Vice-President (Advancement and External Relations), Vice-President (Grenfell), and Vice-President (Research).

The records include advertisements by the executive headhunting firms Odgers Berndtson, Boyden, and KBRS.

They do not have any description for the Vice-President (Indigenous) position.

One response to “Memorial University Vice-Presidents position descriptions”

  1. Not one of the Vice Presidents, or President have had to apply for their jobs. Just friends giving friends jobs. How many acting/interim people have been given positions and fat raises from their pals? Why have position descriptions in this case?
