St. John’s lawyer Bob Buckingham is condemning Memorial University’s handling of sanctions against Matt Barter, saying “It is absolutely disgusting” what Memorial and its bureaucrats put him through in their “collective efforts to quash free speech and the right to protest.”
He said the university’s actions undermine the very purpose for which Memorial University was named.
Buckingham added that Memorial should have removed the sanctions much sooner, but “undoubtedly” believed he would simply go away.
