On April 9, 2026, the Graduate Students’ Union of Memorial University of Newfoundland published the results of its dissolution vote.
Of the 440 students who cast ballots, 157 voted in favour of authorizing the dissolution process, 244 voted against, 14 abstained, and 25 ballots were deemed ineligible.
