On April 14, 2025, Associate Chief Justice Rosalie McGrath filed her judgment in Barter v. Memorial University of Newfoundland, 2025 NLSC 67. 

The Court found the Decision of a university adjudicative body to be unreasonable in respect of certain findings of violations of a student code of conduct, and the matter was remitted back for reconsideration. Costs were awarded to the Applicant.
