An obtained access-to-information request reveals that of the $16,833,551 in revenue from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Sugar Sweetened Beverage Tax, $11,733,511 is unaccounted for.
$5.1 million was allocated to help fund programs with the Kid Eat Smart Foundation, the Physical Activity Tax Credit, and the Pre-natal Infant Nutrition Supplement.
