A Memorial University student posted anonymously in the Facebook group “MUN Students Come Together” that the main entrance to the Education Building was blocked by scaffolding.
The student stated that the tunnel to the Education Building had been out of commission for months, so that was not an option either. “Judging by the paint cans and lack of active workers, this isn’t even urgent repairs,” said the student.
Furthermore, the student stated, “I shouldn’t have to drag myself up the stairs or just turn around because this university forgets disabled students exist.”
